Recommendations for creating an AutoCAD file for the PlanoHero service

For the convenience of creating a “Store plans”, we recommend using an AutoCAD layout.
For correct display, the file must meet the following requirements:
Saved in .dxf format (AutoCAD 2018 DXF);
All curves and polylines of the layout must be saved as separate segments;
Appropriate layout dimensions are set according to the scale.

Step-by-step action plan to prepare a correct AutoCAD file:

Copy the drawing and paste it into a new AutoCAD file to prevent unnecessary drawing elements from being transferred to the service.

To split all curves and polylines into separate segments, click the Split button, select the entire plan, and press Enter.

To set the appropriate scale for the plan, select the drawing, right-click, and choose the appropriate “Scale”.

To ensure the dimensions of the store plan correspond to reality, adjust the display units of the drawing. Click on the AutoCAD icon, select the “Utilities” tab, and configure the “Drawing Units”.

Change the “Insertion Scale” setting to the corresponding unit measurements and Save the changes.

Save the finished file in .dxf format (AutoCAD 2018 DXF).

The saved file is now ready to be imported into the PlanoHero service:
