Packing
Product packing is a functionality that allows you to create different variants of the same product layout. You can customize different sizes and images of the product for each packing.
Packing can be added for both packaged and weighing products by placing it on a shelf, hook, or perforation.
To add a product packing, in the Products block, click the 'Edit' button on the product thumbnail (or click the product name from the list). Next, in the 'Product information tab', in the 'Packing parameters section', click on the corresponding button:
Next, need to customize:
Packing name;
Package image (if necessary);
Products qty in pack or weight;
Height, width, and depth of the package.
Note! By default, the packing parameters match the physical parameters of the product, but you can change them to suit your layout needs.
Important! Physical parameters of the products and packing parameters should be indicated in the selected measurement system: in meters or inches.
To add a 'Package image', click on the corresponding area. Then you can upload an image using the built-in Google search (search by barcode or product name) or upload a file from computer.
Note! You can add several types of packing for one product.
For a product, you can set up a priority type of packing. To do this, just drag the required packing parameters to the first position using the dots located on the left next to the packing name:
The packing order determines the order in which the names in the 'Packing type' list are displayed. The packing type with the highest priority automatically determines the appearance of the weight product on the planogram.
To remove the packing, click the button:
Recommendation! In the 'Edit' mode of the planogram, you can add product packing. This will allow you to customize the appearance of the product on the shelf without interrupting the process of creating a planogram. To do this, select the appropriate product and click on the 'Customize product' button in the lower-left corner. After this, the 'Product information' tab will become available.
To place a packaged product on the planogram, in the 'Edit' mode, click on the product and select the 'Settings' button on the top panel. Next, in the 'General settings' section, select the desired 'Packing type' from the list.
Note! The 'Packing type' can be selected only if the packing has been added to the product.
Packing allows you to place weighing products on a shelf, hook, and perforation. To do this, drag the product from the left panel to the equipment.
