Master position
Master position (MP) is a functionality that allows you to group products into one position by category, brand, or desired characteristic: color, size, or packaging. This approach allows you to unify the assortment, speed up the display process, and provide a single logic for working with the product on the planogram.
The service uses an icon to indicate the master position:

To create a master position, you need to click on the Create master position button in the Products block, which is located on the top panel:

A selection of products becomes available. To add a product to the master position, click on the checkbox in the upper right corner of the card or in the left column of the product list.
Note! One master position can contain no more than 1000 products.
Important! Only products can be added to a master position. One product can be in different master positions. It is not possible to include other master positions in each other.
To complete the process of creating a master position, you need to use the Set up master position button:

After setting it up, a card with information about the master position is created in the Products block.

After clicking on the Set up master position button, a sidebar with a master position card consisting of four tabs becomes available:
Master position information - contains basic information about MP according to the selected products;
List of products - allows you to manage the list of products in the MP: add new ones, delete them, set the priority of products;
Layout - contains a list of planograms where the MP is laid out;
History of change - contains information about changes made to the manual.
Master position information tab allows you to set:
Name is editable;
Article - with the ability to automatically generate it or enter it manually (with validation for uniqueness);
To generate an article, use the button:

Note! When you enter an article, the system checks for its availability in the assortment database. If the article already exists, a warning is displayed. If necessary, an article can be duplicated.
Barcode - a list of barcodes of all added products in the MP;
Brand - a list of brands of all products in the MP;
Category - a list of categories of all products in the MP;
Properties - a list of characteristics of all products in the MP;
Type - Packed/Weighted;
Note! By default, the MF is created with the "Packed" type.
Description - with the ability to copy text;
Image - can only be downloaded from a computer;
Physical parameters - automatically set to 0.16, 0.08, 0.08;
Compression and packaging parameters.
Important! If you do not have the rights to edit products, you cannot edit the master position (only view)
To save the changes on the tab, click the Apply button.

There are two blocks in the List of products tab:
Selected products - a table with a list of products contained in the MT.
In the list of master position products, you can set the priority, which is displayed in the leftmost column with a check mark:

Entering the number is optional. All new products are placed at the top of the list.
You can also download the list of products containing the master position as an xls file. To do this, click the "Download" button:
To delete a product from the master position, just go to the end of the line with the product description and click the Remove button or use the Remove products button to delete products in bulk:

To save the changes on the tab, click the Apply button.
Product choice - allows you to add a product to the MP.

The Layout tab displays a list of planograms on which the master position is laid out. The list contains the following columns:
Planogram name;
Plan name;
Supplier;
Price;
Note! The price reflects the average price of all products added to the master position.
Layout parameters;
Product stock, (pcs./kg);
Product stock, (days);
Stock qty.
Note! The Stock qty displays the sumquantity of all stock added to the items in the master position.
The History of change tab contains information about the changes made, their source, and date.
Important! Changes made to the list of products cannot be restored.

In order to update the parameters of the products in the master position, it is enough to use the button in the "Products" block.

Options for updating:
Image;
Sizes;
Type;
List of products;
Article;
Name.
Note! All master position parameters can be updated only from the Database/Connector.

To place a master position on and planogram, you need to left-click it in the list and drag it to the selected equipment.

On the planogram, the MP is indicated by a dotted line.

By default, master positions are included in the layout when you use an auto layout. In the settings, you can disable this option through the switch "Include master positions in layout".
When grouping is activated, the master position automatically creates new groups according to the defined grouping parameters.

To download the complete planogram, click the button in the upper right corner in the "View" mode:

The option "Do not include the list of master position" is available in the upload settings, which can be used via a toggle:

When the parameter is enabled:
The full list of barcodes of products and suppliers included in the MSP is displayed in .pdf and .xls formats
When the option is disabled (by default):
In the .pdf format, a separate table with information on each product included in the MS is displayed at the end of the document
In .xls format - a line from the MP is expanded and information on each product included in the MP is displayed
Products for lay out - an individual entrepreneur is lay out if all its products are new, active, and not posted;
Products to remove - displayed if all the products in the MP are inactive and the MP itself has already been posted;
Product holes - displayed if all products in the MP are absent on stock, but are present on the planogram;
Out-of-stock - displays the total qty of stock of all products in the MP, if it is less than the qty of sales per day;
Not laid out products - displayed if at least one item is unstocked on the planogram.
