ABC analysis

With the help of ABC analysis, you can analyse the products on the equipment according to the degree of profitability for the chain.
ABC analysis divides products into three groups based on four metrics: Turnover, Profit, Sales qty and Receipts qty:
Products in Group A — the most profitable.
Products in Group B — intermediate products.
Products in Group C — the least profitable.

How the product rating is formed according to the selected metric

For the selected period, the data on the products in the planogram are collected according to the selected metric, for example, turnover. The products are then sorted in descending order of value.

Products that account for 80% of the total value of the metric belong to group A (the most profitable). The next 15% of products form Group B, and the last 5% form Group C.

Customise the report

In order to change the boundaries of the distribution groups, you need to go to the report settings (the button on the right of the toolbar) and enter the desired values in the appropriate fields in the Distribution groups column. This will allow you to redefine which group each product belongs to depending on its metric.

To change the color of a group, just click on the color opposite the group and choose from the palette or enter a hex code.

To change the period for which the report is generated, click on the Period field. By default, the analysis includes the last 30 days.

To change the metric for which the report will be displayed, click on the Display drop-down box in the lower left part. By default, the ABC distribution by turnover is displayed.

To download the report in Excel format, click on the corresponding button in the upper right corner.

To configure the display of metrics (columns) in the report, click on the corresponding icon at the top right of the table.
