How to remove products in the "Products to remove" block

An inactive product may remain on a planogram even if it is no longer in the store's assortment. For example, a seasonal line has ended, sales have dropped, or the product is being discontinued. To quickly find such products and update the layout in time, they are all collected in one place in the "Products to remove" block.

How to upload products for removal

PlanoHero receives store assortment data from the network database through the assortment matrix uploaded via "Connector".
Read more about connecting and editing data sources in the article.


Important! If no inactive products remaining on planograms are found during the PlanoHero data update, the "Products to remove" list will be empty.



How to find products for removal

On the "Tasks" page, open the "Products to remove" block. It displays a list of store plans and planograms with the number of inactive products. 


To quickly find the required plan or planogram, use the name search at the top of the list.


To filter by Store formats, Store groups, Shops, Categories, Assortment type, Properties, Product status, Format — click "Filters" in the upper-right corner:



The list can also be sorted by plan name or number of products — click the column header to switch between ascending, descending, or no sorting.

Important! The downloaded file reflects the applied filters and search.  



How to remove and replace products on a planogram 

To remove and replace inactive products: 

  1. Click the row of the required store plan;
  2. In the window that opens, click "Go to layout";
  3. The selected planogram will open in editing mode, and inactive products will be highlighted;
  4. Filter the product list by selecting "Inactive" in the "Display" field;
  5. Remove these products and replace them with others, or add facings to neighbouring products.


After this, they will disappear from the "Products to remove" list.
