Working with planograms in PlanoHero Layout — Store manager

In this article we'll look at how to work with planograms in the PlanoHero Layout application: where to find them, what information is displayed, and what actions are available.

"Planograms" tab

After opening the "Planograms" tab, a page with the list of planograms is displayed.

The following actions are available for the list of planograms:

  • Search:
  1. By planogram name;
  2. By product (by barcode, article number, or name), including by scanning, by tapping:




  • The "Display thumbnails / Display the list" toggle button — allows changing the display mode of planograms:



  • Filters:




Working with a planogram

Tap the required planogram → A page with tabs for viewing information and performing actions will open.


The following tabs are available at the bottom of the page:

  • Dashboard — contains basic information about the planogram.





  • Planogram — displays a visual layout of product placement on shelves, racks, or other retail equipment.



  • Equipment — displays a list of products and information about their placement on the equipment.





  • Photoreports — here you can execute a planogram, add, and view the history of photoreports.



How to execute a planogram

To start executing a planogram, open the notification or tap the planogram name in the "Planograms" tab → "For execution".


  1. Review the layout scheme and arrange the products in the store according to the planogram;
  2. Tap "Execute planogram", after which:



  1. Take a photo of the layout — use the planogram mask to position the camera correctly, capture the entire layout in the frame, and ensure the photo is of proper quality. This provides a consistent format for photo reports, simplifies verification, and helps quickly determine whether the layout matches the planogram and identify any deviations:





  1. Check the photoreport status:




How to use the time tracker

Starting the time tracker:

  1. Open a planogram with mandatory time tracking and tap "Continue" to proceed with execution;
  2. Tap "Start""Start" to launch the time tracker:




Managing the time tracker:

  1. To open the "Time tracker" window with a list of planograms for which the time tracker is running or was previously used, tap the timer at the top;
  2. To pause time tracking, tap the "Pause" button;
  3. To proceed to sending a photoreport, tap "Stop""Proceed".
