Equipment Element Customization
Customization makes it possible to create realistic and personalized visualizations of retail equipment: changing element colors and adding logos, images, and barriers. This helps reflect the equipment's actual appearance more accurately, improve the visual quality of planograms, and adapt equipment to the needs of different brands and retail formats.
In this article, we will cover how to change the color of equipment elements, add a barrier, and set up branding.

How to change equipment color
Changing element colors helps reproduce the design of real equipment more accurately in line with a brand's corporate colors. Color can also be used to mark individual elements, for example, to highlight several boxes intended for promotional products in a different color.
The color applies to the entire element. For example, if the color of a shelf or base is changed, it is displayed the same in both the front and top views.
For side walls, the color of the outer and inner sides can be set separately. The outer side color applies only to that side, while the inner side color also applies to the top, front, and back edges of the wall.
To change the color of an equipment element:
- Select it and click "Set up" on the toolbar.
- In the "General settings" block, click the "Color" field and:
- select a shade from the palette;
- or enter a value in HEX format, a six-digit code in #RRGGBB format, where RR, GG, and BB are the red, green, and blue values respectively, from 00 to FF. For example, #FF5733 is orange.
- Click "Apply" to save the changes.
How to add a barrier
A barrier is an element installed on a base or shelf to reproduce the look of equipment in the store more accurately. It is not included in the depth of the base/shelf and does not reduce the available area for placing products.
Select one of the options:
- Do not display;
- Solid: a barrier along the front edge of the base/shelf;
- Transparent: displayed as a dashed line in 2D and as a transparent barrier in 3D along the front edge of the base/shelf;
- Mesh: a barrier made of horizontal crossbars and vertical posts along the front edge of the base/shelf.
For solid and mesh barriers, the height (set automatically to 0.06 m) and color can be adjusted. For transparent barriers, only the height can be adjusted.
Equipment branding
Branding helps place a logo or a brand's corporate image on an equipment element to make it visually recognizable and convey the store design more accurately.
Branding is available for the following equipment elements: Bases (Rectangle and Trapezium), Back wall, Side walls, Central upright, Shelf, Angle shelf.
To add branding:
- Select the required equipment element and click "Set up" on the toolbar;
- In the "Branding" block, turn on the "Display branding" toggle;
- Drag the image to the highlighted area or select a file from your computer.
After adding the image, set up how it is displayed:
- Transparency: change the transparency level using the slider (0–100%);
- Rotation: change the rotation angle using the slider or the "-90°" and "+90°" buttons;
- Filling the equipment element: choose how the image is placed on the element:
- Fit — automatic adjustment of the image to the element size;
- Fill — the image is scaled to fill the element space evenly. Part of the image may be cropped;
- Move manually — moving and resizing the image manually on the equipment element. Drag the image on the thumbnail in the "Branding display" section to change its position, or drag the corners or edges to change its size and proportions.
In the "Branding display" section, you can:
- View the result;
- Change image — click the corresponding button and select another one from your computer:
