### Recommendations for creating an AutoCAD file for the PlanoHero service

For the convenience of creating a **“Store plans”**, we recommend using an **AutoCAD** layout.

For correct display, the file must meet the following requirements:
* Saved in **.dxf format (AutoCAD 2018 DXF)**;
* All curves and polylines of the layout must be saved as separate segments;
* Appropriate layout dimensions are set according to the scale.

**Step-by-step action plan to prepare a correct AutoCAD file:**

1. Copy the drawing and paste it into a new **AutoCAD** file to prevent unnecessary drawing elements from being transferred to the service.

2. To split all curves and polylines into separate segments, click the **Split** button, select the entire plan, and press **Enter**.

3. To set the appropriate scale for the plan, select the drawing, right-click, and choose the appropriate **“Scale”**.

4. To ensure the dimensions of the store plan correspond to reality, adjust the display units of the drawing. Click on the **AutoCAD** icon, select the “Utilities” tab, and configure the **“Drawing Units”**.

5. Change the **“Insertion Scale”** setting to the corresponding unit measurements and **Save** the changes.

6. Save the finished file in **.dxf format (AutoCAD 2018 DXF)**.

||| **Important!** Wall thickness is taken into account during file import. If the thickness is not specified or is less than 0.01 m, a default value of 0.1 m is set.
