# Quadrant analysis (Store plans)

Quadrant analysis allows you to evaluate planograms on the store plan simultaneously by two indicators and quickly identify those that require attention — for example, planograms with low turnover and high stock, or with a large number of sales but low profit.

In this article we will review quadrant analysis for the store plan: how to configure it and what indicators are available.

### How to configure quadrant analysis
To open quadrant analysis, click **"Analytics"** → **"Quadrant analysis"** on the left toolbar.

In the **"Report settings"** panel:
1. Click the **"Period"** field and select the required date range in the calendar or use one of the ready-made options. The last 30 days are set automatically;
2. Select two indicators for analysis:
    * **Turnover**;
    * **Sales qty**;
    * **Receipts qty**;
    * **Profit**;
    * **Stock qty**;
    * **Stocks price**;
    * **Turnover per linear m of equipment**;
    * **Profit per linear m of equipment**.

Combine indicators depending on the task, for example:
* **Turnover + Sales qty** — to identify the most effective planograms;
* **Profit + Stocks price** — to find planograms with a surplus of products and low profit.

3. Click **"Apply"** to save the changes.

### How quadrant analysis is formed
For each planogram, the values of the two selected indicators are calculated, and their average value is determined — the sum of all indicator values divided by the number of planograms on the store plan.

Depending on the combination of values, a planogram falls into one of four quadrants:
* **Quadrant 1** (green) — both indicators are above average;
* **Quadrant 2** (yellow) — the first indicator is below average, the second is above;
* **Quadrant 3** (red) — both indicators are below average;
* **Quadrant 4** (blue) — the first indicator is above average, the second is below.

Planograms on the store plan change color depending on the quadrant they belong to. The **"Report settings"** panel contains a coordinate axis with a hint showing what color a planogram will be highlighted depending on the indicators.

### General indicators used in analytics

|| Note! Data from receipts marked as is\_excluded = 1 is not included in the calculations. Indicators are calculated based only on regular sales, excluding return receipts.

* **Turnover** — the sum of monetary receipts from sales for the selected period;
* **Profit** — the difference between turnover and product cost;
* **Sales qty** — the total number of product units sold during the selected period;
* **Receipts qty** — the total number of sales receipts for the selected period, excluding return receipts;
* **Stock qty** — the quantity of products in the store and/or warehouse at the end of the last day of the selected period.

### Indicators table
At the bottom of the page, a table with data for the selected period is displayed:
1. **Planogram attributes**:
    * **Planogram name**;
    * **Planogram type** (Basic/Additional).

2. **Indicators**:
    * **Turnover**;
    * **Turnover per linear m of equipment** = Turnover of products on the planogram / Linear metres of equipment;
    * **Sales qty**;
    * **Receipts qty**;
    * **Profit**;
    * **Profit per linear m of equipment** = Profit of products on the planogram / Linear metres of equipment;
    * **Stock qty**;
    * **Stocks price** = Product cost \* Stock quantity of this product.
