# Quadrant analysis (Planograms)

Quadrant analysis allows you to evaluate products by two metrics simultaneously and quickly identify those that require attention — for example, products with low turnover and high stock, or with a high sales quantity but low profit.

In this article we will review quadrant analysis: how to configure it and what indicators are available.

### How to configure quadrant analysis
To open quadrant analysis, click **"Analytics"** → **"Quadrant analysis"** on the left toolbar.

In the **"Report settings"** panel:
1. Click the **"Period"** field and select the required date range in the calendar or use one of the ready-made options. The last 30 days are set automatically;
2. Select two metrics to compare products:
    * **Turnover**;
    * **Sales qty**;
    * **Receipts quantity**;
    * **Profit**;
    * **Stock qty**;
    * **Price**;
    * **Stocks price**;
    * **Turnover per linear meter of equipment**;
    * **Profit per linear meter of equipment**.

Combine metrics depending on the task, for example:
* **Turnover + Sales qty** — to identify the best-selling products;
* **Sales qty + Stock qty** — to find products with high stock and low demand;
* **Price + Sales qty** — to assess how price affects demand.

3. Click **"Apply"** to save the changes.

### How quadrant analysis is formed
For each planogram, the values of two selected metrics are calculated and their average value is determined — the sum of all metric values divided by the number of unique products on the planogram.

Depending on the combination of values, a product falls into one of four quadrants:
* **Quadrant 1 (green)** — both metrics are above average;
* **Quadrant 2 (yellow)** — the first metric is below average, the second is above;
* **Quadrant 3 (red)** — both metrics are below average;
* **Quadrant 4 (blue)** — the first metric is above average, the second is below.

Products on the planogram change color depending on the quadrant they belong to. The **"Report settings"** panel contains a coordinate axis with a color guide.

### Indicators table
At the bottom of the page, a table with product information and metrics for the selected period is displayed.

1. **Product attributes**:
    * **Name**;
    * **Article**;
    * **Barcode**;
    * **Type** (packaged/weighting).

2. **Indicators**:
    * **Turnover** — total monetary receipts from product sales for the selected period;
    * **Average turnover**;
    * **Turnover per linear meter of display** = product turnover / sum of linear meters of all placed products;
    * **Average turnover per linear meter of display**;
    * **Sales qty**;
    * **Average sales qty**;
    * **Receipts quantity** — excluding returns;
    * **Average receipts quantity**;
    * **Profit** — the difference between turnover and product cost;
    * **Average profit**;
    * **Profit per linear meter of display** = product profit / sum of linear meters of all placed products;
    * **Average profit per linear meter of display**;
    * **Stock qty** — quantity of products in the store at the end of the selected period;
    * **Stocks price** = product cost * stock quantity.

The table can be flexibly configured:
* Drag columns by name to change their order;
* Hold the bottom right corner of a column and move it left or right to change its width;
* Click the arrow next to a column name to sort products by that metric.

The following tools are available for convenient data management:
* **Search** — find products by name, article or barcode;
* **Customize columns** — select the metrics to be displayed in the table;
* **Save table template** — save column settings so you don't have to reconfigure the table each time.

To download the report in **.xls** format, click **"Download report"** on the top toolbar.
