# Product Holes

A product hole is a product placed on a planogram that is out of stock in the store. It takes up space on the planogram, but is not actually on the shelf, which may cause the store to lose sales. To quickly find such positions and monitor the relevance of the layout, all product holes are collected in one place and grouped by store plans and planograms.

In this article, we will review where to view the product hole list, and how to go to the layout and replace products out of stock.

### How to find product holes
On the **"Tasks"** page, open the **"Product holes"** block. It displays a list of store plans and planograms with the number of products out of stock.

The list is not displayed in the following cases:
* There are no product holes on the planograms;
* You do not have access to edit the store plans and planograms that have product holes;
* There are no active store plans — read more about store plans [__in the article__](https://helpdesk.planohero.com/en/article/the-store-plans-block-k4x81l/);
* Stock data has not been uploaded.

To quickly find the required plan or planogram, use the name search at the top of the list.

To filter by: **Store formats, Store groups, Shops, Assortment type, Categories, Product status, Properties, Format** — click **"Filters"** in the upper-right corner:

The list can also be sorted by plan name, planogram name, or number of products. Click the column header to switch between ascending, descending, or no sorting.

### How to go to the layout with product holes
To go to the layout, click the row of the required planogram — in the modal window, select **"Go to layout"**.

The planogram will open, and products out of stock will be highlighted — they should be replaced.

If such products need to be replaced across all store planograms at once, open the **"Planograms"** block, filter the list by the required store plan, and use the **"Product rotation"** tool.
