# Forming a list of products for the planogram

In this article, we will review how to create a product list for a planogram: how to add products manually and upload them from an Excel file.

### How to create a product list on a planogram 
To create a product list for placement, click the **"Add products"** button in the **"Products"** panel.

The **"Product choice"** panel opens with a list of available products. To find a product, use the search field — products can be searched by **name**, **article**, or **barcode**. 

To filter products by **Categories**, **Brands**, **Suppliers**, **Characteristics**, **Assortment type**, **Product status**, **Format**, and **Assortment**, click the **"Filter"** button at the top of the **Product choice** panel:

Select the required values and click **"Apply"**.

To add a product to the **"Products"** panel, click the **"+Add product"** button to the left of the product name:

To add all products from the list, click the **"Add all products"** button:

### How to upload a product list from an Excel file
To upload products from a file:
1. In the **"Products"** panel, click **"Upload products / layout"** → **"Upload layout"**:

2. Select the file upload method:
* Upload an .xlsx file from your computer with an **"Articles"** column containing product article numbers or a **"Barcodes"** column containing product barcodes. The article numbers or barcodes in the file must match those available in the service;
* Paste a list of product article numbers or barcodes using **Ctrl + V (Windows) / Command** **+ V (macOS)**.

After uploading, the products will automatically appear in the product list for placement.

| Recommendation! If your assortment contains products with article numbers or barcodes that begin with zero, we recommend using the Text data format for these values when preparing the Excel file.

To upload layout from a file:
1. In the **"Products"** panel, click **"Upload products / layout"** → **"Upload layout"**;
2. In the modal window, drag and drop the file into the upload area or click the area to select a file from your computer.
